Butternut

Here I am! I'm Butternut. I came to the shelter after I was hit by a car and left to freeze to death in the road. Brrr! Lucky for me, a woman found me and brought me to someone who worked at this shelter. I was rushed to a vet, and it was very scary for a couple of days, but here I am...a survivor! I spent a couple of weeks in a foster home (where I recovered quite nicely, thank you). I am a little bit overwhelmed by new situations, but with kindness and patience,I come around just fine. I love to be petted and adored, especially before my meals. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with these silly little things called "toys," but I think I can get the hang of it sooner or later. I'm looking for a loving soul who will shelter and protect me for the rest of my life. Are you looking for someone adorable and lovable to care for? Here I am!
